Billing & Payment Policy

Our goal is to serve you and your pet in every way possible. This includes ensuring your medical team provides services that fit within your budget. It’s important that your financial commitment and responsibilities are made clear before treatment begins.

Full payment of your bill is required at the time services are rendered.

Estimates

We offer a wide range of services, equipment, and medicine in order to give your pet the best care possible. Our goal is to discuss all medical options with you and help you decide on a course of action for diagnostics and treatment. Estimates and treatment plans may change during the course of treatment based on decisions you and your doctor make. If you are on a budget, it is your responsibility to let your doctor know as soon as possible so that we can customize a treatment plan for you. If you elect to hospitalize your animal for any reason, an accurate estimate will be presented for anticipated services. Upon approval, 75% of the low end of that estimate will be collected from you in good faith. The remaining balance will be paid when your pet is discharged from our practice.

Accepted Forms of Payment

We offer a diverse range of accepted payment methods to provide our clients with flexibility when covering their pet’s medical expenses. Our preferred payment methods include:

  • Cash
  • MasterCard
  • Visa
  • Discover
  • American Express
  • CareCredit*

*CareCredit is a personal line of credit for healthcare, both human and veterinary, that works like a credit card which provides a 6-month zero interest repayment option to qualified applicants. For more information about CareCredit, or to apply for their card, please click here.

Late Cancellation and No-Show Fees

We understand that emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise, but it’s crucial to keep our team informed. To ensure a smooth and efficient experience, we kindly request that clients arrive on time for appointments and provide the necessary notice for cancellations to avoid fees.

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, you may be asked to reschedule. If your animal is ill and needs to be worked in on an emergency basis, you may be asked to pay our emergency care fee.  Please note that we require a 48-hour notice for surgical or dental cancellations and a 24-hour notice for appointment cancellations. Please plan accordingly when scheduling appointments; late cancellation and no-show fees apply in all situations.

No Show & Late Cancellation Fees:

  • Appointment – $85-99
  • Echo/Ultrasound – $100
  • Surgical/Dental – $200

Late cancellation and no-show fees are required because we reserve time on the doctor’s schedule and provide skilled support staff just for you. Failure to pay no-show and late cancellation fees may result in services for your pets being suspended and your account being sent to collections. It is important that you arrive on time for your scheduled appointment so that the doctor and staff have plenty of time to discuss your pet’s needs and provide supportive treatment.
